Lots of walking on the beach....beautiful weather.
Looking for sea glass - not a good area for that!
Of course, had to visit my favorite little restaurant - Bimini's for some lightly steamed oysters.
Later, bar tricks were in order. The bartender gave us the following items:
2 toothpicks
2 forks
1 cork
1 empty wine bottle
The task was to suspend the two forks in the air using only those items.
Duane has a steady hand!
Yep, it can be done - the toothpicks are truly point-to-point and the forks are dangling in the air, hooked over the horizontal toothpick!
Enough of that silliness!! The weekend was over before we knew it - back to the airport. Just as we were packing up the airplane, I noticed the banner-tow plane coming back to drop his banner. Always cool to watch that graceful but quite dangerous maneuver!

haha - no, only duane and the barman did!
Enjoyed your pictures. Looks like you had a great time. There used to be a banner tow guy at AVL. He used giant letters that he set up in a hanger. Interesting to see him lay it out beside the runway and pick it up. His brother used to run the FBO at Grand Strand. May be some connection. MOM
